Required Skills:


  • Valid RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact license

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS and NIHSS preferred

  • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication abilities

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies

  • Proficiency in using clinical technology and electronic health records

  • Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety



Nice to Have Skills:


  • Experience in acute care, ICU, or emergency settings

  • Prior float or agency nursing experience

  • Ability to serve as a preceptor or mentor to new staff

  • Bilingual skills to support diverse patient populations



Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Less than 1 year of clinical experience is acceptable, with a focus on clinical hours completed during nursing education



Other Requirements:


  • Night shift availability (4:45 PM – 7:15 AM), every other weekend, and two major and two minor holidays

  • Ability to travel within hospital units to meet staffing needs

  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and appropriate licensure

  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and performance improvement initiatives
