Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies
- Proficiency in using clinical technology and electronic health records
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in acute care, ICU, or emergency settings
- Prior float or agency nursing experience
- Ability to serve as a preceptor or mentor to new staff
- Bilingual skills to support diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Less than 1 year of clinical experience is acceptable, with a focus on clinical hours completed during nursing education
Other Requirements:
- Night shift availability (4:45 PM – 7:15 AM), every other weekend, and two major and two minor holidays
- Ability to travel within hospital units to meet staffing needs
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and appropriate licensure
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and performance improvement initiatives
