Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Orthopedics, Neuro, or Trauma settings
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong proficiency with computers, software, and online tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to delegate, instruct, and collaborate effectively within a team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area (e.g., Orthopedic Nursing, Neuro Specialty, Trauma Nursing)
- Experience with electronic health records and database management
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work a 12-hour shift from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM; schedule includes overnight hours
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory standards and hospital policies
- Awareness of OSHA, HIPAA, and other applicable healthcare regulations
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training
- Exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially infectious materials
