What You’ll Do:
As a CRNA, you will provide expert anesthesia support across a diverse patient population, covering Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro procedures (excluding Neonatal and Heart cases). You will work alongside a supportive team of anesthesiologists, anesthesia techs, and residents under medical direction, focusing on delivering safe, efficient anesthesia services. Your duties include performing intubations, central lines, arterial lines, and line placements, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a variety of clinical settings. The role requires flexibility with scheduling, including options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, with a preference for 4x10 schedules.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical CRNA experience (no new graduates)
- Board Certification from NBCRNA
- Valid state license for Kentucky (willing to license)
- Proficiency in intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and other advanced airway management skills
- Ability to work full-time, including every week of the schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a high-acuity environment
Nice to Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with the EPIC EMR system
- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar high-volume facility
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or ATLS
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing with specialized anesthesia training
- At least 1 year of recent anesthesia practice in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work NORA (Night and Off-Weekend Rotations)
- Commitment to maintaining licensure and certifications, including licenses for Kentucky
- Willingness to participate in credentialing processes; credentialing completion expected within 90 days
- Flexibility to work full-time, with shifts typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, supporting a 4x10 schedule preferred
- Must be available to work four weeks per month, with shifts scheduled per operational needs
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $226.20, with premium pay for holidays at 1.5x the regular rate
