Join Our Team as a Travel RN in the CVICU – Urgent Need!

Required Skills:
- Pediatric cardiac care experience (chest tubes, pacing wires, ventilators, vasoactive infusions)
- Current RN license in Texas or a compact state
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA)
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care independently
- Strong documentation and patient education skills
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and delegation abilities
- At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred; new graduates considered
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in critical care or Pediatric ICU settings
- Additional certifications or training specific to pediatric cardiac care
- Proficiency in managing complex medical equipment and vasoactive infusions
- Bilingual capabilities to better serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric or critical care nursing experience
- Prior experience with pediatric cardiac patients strongly preferred
Other Requirements:
- Must have pediatric cardiac care experience (chest tubes, pacing wires, ventilators, vasoactive infusions)
- Willingness to travel and adapt to various shifts, primarily night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM)
- Attending New Nurses Orientation within 30 days of hire
- Successful completion of onboarding, competency validations, and annual training
- Travel reimbursement, licensure, certification, and other applicable expenses covered
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $53.60
