We are seeking highly skilled Telemetry RNs to join our traveling nursing team, providing vital cardiac and telemetry services during daytime shifts. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with ANA standards.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Document clinical information accurately and thoroughly.
- Educate patients and families, addressing their psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Make informed decisions independently and delegate appropriately to team members.
- Demonstrate leadership consistent with organizational and professional standards.
Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment or in a compact state.
- Current BLS certification from the AHA.
- Recent ACLS certification from the AHA.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty, preferably in telemetry or cardiac care.
- Strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient advocacy.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Prior experience in a travel nurse role.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least one year of clinical experience in telemetry, cardiac units, or similar settings.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 04/06/2026.
- Willingness to work 7AM – 7PM daytime shifts.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Flexible to travel and adapt to diverse healthcare settings.
- Willingness to attend onboarding, orientation, and competency validations.
Hourly Pay Rate: $58.96
