• Patient Volume/Census: ~65 patients/day

• No. of Beds in Department: 15 ED beds + 2 Fast Track
• EMR System: Epic
• Specialty Backup Available: Ortho, GI, Telepsych, Telenephrology, Teleneuro
• Support Staff Available: MDs, NPs/PAs
• Reason for Coverage: Multi-site staffing expansion across 5 facilities
• Facility Sites: Marshall, Kilgore (others open later, e.g., Henderson)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Texas license required
• Board: ABEM required for Marshall
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS Certifications: Not required for ABEM
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS: Required for FM/IM
• Experience: EM Residency required at Marshall
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency in Epic preferred (EPIC test out available)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency care to diverse patient population
• Work across 12-hour or 8-hour shift structures
• Coordinate with specialty backup and support staff
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and orders
• Participate in onboarding and 12-hour shadowing orientation
