We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 240-day assignment in Alaska, starting Jul 13, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive bread and butter primary care to a native population in rural Alaska, focusing on a M-F 8a - 4:30 schedule. Duties include managing chronic diseases, conducting well child visits, and providing women's health services.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive bread and butter primary care to a native population in rural Alaska
- Manage cases involving hypertension, diabetes, COPD, asthma
- Care for pediatric patients, including well child visits
- Oversee chronic disease management
- Medically treat some psychiatric patients
- Provide women's health services
- Manage medications
- Perform history and physicals (H&Ps)
- Utilize full lab capabilities and on-site pharmacy
