Description
Our client in NC is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day assignment, beginning Apr 27, 2026. This role involves working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing over 40 patients during 12-hour shifts (8 AM to 8 PM weekdays, 8 AM to 4 PM weekends). Responsibilities include providing comprehensive urgent care for a primarily adult population, handling acute care cases, performing minor procedures like suturing and I&D, and interpreting EKGs and x-rays.
Responsibilities and Duties - Work autonomously within a provider, MA, and front desk team model.
- Manage 40+ patients during 12-hour shifts.
- Provide comprehensive urgent care for a primarily adult population.
- Address acute care needs including colds, coughs, and flu.
- Perform procedures such as incision and drainage (I&D), suturing, and laceration repair.
- Interpret EKGs and x-rays accurately.
