Full Time Clinician - Sign On Bonus Available - Springfield, MA
Job Description
HealthPlus Staffing is assisting a Behavioral Health group with their search for a full-time Clinician to join their team in Springfield, MA. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents and families. This outreach position is offering a sign-on bonus. The Clinician will be responsible for providing professional mental health services to individuals and families referred to our agency. This includes providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and/or substance abuse issues. The clinician will also provide crisis intervention, case management and clinical consultation.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals and families.
• Provide crisis intervention services.
• Provide support and guidance to individuals and families.
• Ensure the safety of all individuals.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners.
• Provide case management services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports and documentation.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related Mental Health field.
• Must be CANS - MA Certified
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with individuals, families, and/or groups.
• Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
