Job Details – Locums Chief Medical Officer:
• Location: Washington D.C.
• Duration: May-July, 3-month contract with potential to extend
• Schedule: Full-time hybrid. 3 days on-site, 2 days remote.
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• Scope: 100% administrative, non-clinical role, for a Managed Care org.
o Strategic advisor to Executive Director on clinical matters
o Leads clinical operations, strategy, and outcomes
o Oversees Maryland Medical Directors; drives performance metrics
o Senior leadership team member; dedicated to Maryland plan
o Executes managed care and total cost of care strategies
o Supports value-based contracting initiatives
o Builds partnerships with agencies, health systems, and providers
o Enhances organizational visibility in healthcare community
• Group: Multispecialty group; Managed Care Organization
• Requirements:
o Board Certified, Active D.C. License
o Health plan/Medicaid managed care experience required
o Prior leadership/supervisory experience
o 5+ years clinical experience
o Preferred: provider contracting, NCQA, HEDIS, quality/audits, government programs
o Preferred: population health, disease management, data analysis
