Are you a skilled Family Practice Provider seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We have an exciting opening near BARNESVILLE, PA, for a dedicated provider to join our team. This position offers a 9 to 12-month contract, providing outpatient care for pediatric and adult patients.

Position Details:

• Contract Length: 9 – 12 months


• Shift Details: Mon - Fri


• Schedule: 8 am – 4:30 pm

Work Details:

• Outpatient Clinic for Peds and Adults
  
  
  
  • Mon - Fri; 8 am - 4:30 pm
  
  
  • Call (weekday or weekends)
  
  
  • Call Frequency: 5 times per year shared amongst 9 other providers
  
  
  • Immediate Start
  
  
  • All Ages Highly Preferred (Pediatricians considered)
  
  
  • Majority of calls involve script refills
  
  
  • Some calls require telephone triage, directing patients to the ED or urgent care (if open)
  
  
  • No expectation for the provider to come to the office for patient visits
  
  
  
  


• Support Staff: LPNs, MAs, MOAs


• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full Time with Call 5 times per year


• Patients Per Day: 18+


• Patient Population/Age: Infant - Geriatric


• Department Description: Standard Outpatient Clinic shared with a PA


• EMR: EPIC


• Hospital Bed Size: Outpatient


• Special Procedures: None


• Skills Required: Standard Bread and Butter

Practice Setting:

• Clinic/Private Practice

Requirements:

• Board Certification: BC or BE


• State License Required: PA


• DEA: Yes


• CSR: Yes


• Certifications Preferred: BLS


• Certifications Required: PEDS


• Minimum Experience Required: 3 years
