  • Specialty:
        
    • Emergency Medicine   
    • Looking for ABEM or ABFM/ABIM w/ 2+ years of experience 
      
  • Coverage Needs:
        
    • Need ASAP - Ongoing for 6+ months  
    • Must be able to cover 7+ shifts per month
      
  • Shifts: 
        
    • 7a-7p OR 7p-7a
      
  • Setting: 
        
    • Acute-care community hospital  
    • Level III trauma care capability  
    • Handles moderate trauma cases  
    • Regularly manages Stroke alerts, Cardiac emergencies, critical care stabilization 
      
  • Census:
        
    • 42 ED beds  
    • 24k annual volume  
    • Average 66 ED patients per day 
      
  • Support Staff: 
        
    • 10 hours/day NP/PA coverage
      
  • Procedures: 
        
    • All Standard ER procedures 
      
  • EMR: 
        
    • Meditech
      
  • Board Certification: 
        
    • Board Certified Required 
      
  • Travel: 
        
    • Hospital will cover
      
  • Credentialing timeline:
        
    • Will fast track for ASAP start
      
  • Requirements:
        
    • Active LA state license  
    • Active DEA and CDS in LA or willing to transfer   
    • ATLS, ACLS
