Description
Our client in Arkansas is seeking a General Surgeon Physician for a 140-day assignment beginning May 1, 2026. This role involves a flexible schedule and focuses on a broad range of general surgery procedures, including laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, and trauma cases, to meet diverse patient needs.
Responsibilities and Duties - Perform general surgery procedures including Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty, and Nissen Fundoplication.
- Conduct GI endoscopy procedures such as Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy, and Colonoscopy.
- Execute procedures like Chest tube insertion, Central line insertion, and Umbilical hernia repair.
- Manage general surgery cases, including laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, and trauma cases.
- Opportunity to perform preferred procedures including Adult and Trauma cases, Laparoscopic Surgery, Head/neck surgery, Chest wall/pleural procedures, Breast surgery, Liver surgery, PA Catheter placement, Vascular Surgery, and Aneurysm repairs (Thoracic, Abdominal).
Additional Information - Board Certified in General Surgery.
- Experience with Cerner EMR.
- Work within a Trauma facility.
- PEDs.
