Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible (EM, IM, or FM) and hold an active Alabama license or IMLC, along with ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking consistent scheduling and long-term stability in a team-based ED environment.

Skills

Recent experience practicing in a high-volume Emergency Department setting
Demonstrated ability to manage moderate to high acuity cases, including trauma and critical care
Experience working in Level II or III Trauma Centers preferred
Prior locum tenens experience is a plus but not required
Comfortable working independently and within a team-based model alongside APPs and nursing staff
Experience with multi-site coverage or adaptable to varying clinical environments preferred
Familiarity with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems preferred

Go-live date: June 2026 – providers who can start early are highly preferred
