Facility in Plattsburgh, NY seeking Anesthesiology locums coverageRates: $425/hr+ Opportunity Highlights Start Date: June 2026. Duration: Through end of September 2026 (Possible extension). Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Call Requirements: On-call is mandatory as agreed upon; provider must remain within 15 minutes of the facility. Commitment: Ideal candidates can cover 2 consecutive weeks per month. Work Setting: 100% OR and L&D (No clinic work). EMR: EPIC. Clinical Scope & Volume The provider will manage standard surgical cases as the primary anesthesiologist in a 9-OR suite facility. Daily Case Volume: Approximately 4–5 cases per day. L&D Volume: Roughly 700–800 deliveries per year. Required Procedures: All "bread and butter" surgery and Regional Blocks for OR cases. Preferred Specialties: OB/Gyn, Ortho, GS, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-rectal, ENT, GI, and Urology. Exclusions: No Cardiothoracic (CT), Neuro, or Cranial cases. Pediatrics: Not required, but healthy pediatrics are welcomed (no high-risk peds). Team: Joins a group of ~15 MDs; rarely responsible for supervising the 2 CRNAs on staff. Provider Requirements Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Anesthesiology. Licensure: Active New York (NY) State License in hand. Certifications: ACLS and MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) proof required. Background: Temp privileges are available for providers with a clean file (no malpractice, no work history gaps).
