**Setting:** Hospital-Based Pharmacy (Outpatient + Inpatient/ER Support)
**Location:** Arizona
**Schedule:**
* Pharmacist: Typically 4x10-hour shifts (variable)
* Supervisor: Typically 5x8-hour shifts
* Shifts include days, evenings, nights, and weekends as needed**Position Overview:**
We are seeking adaptable, team-oriented Pharmacists and experienced Pharmacy Supervisors to join a dynamic and growing healthcare team in Arizona. These roles are primarily outpatient-focused, with expectations to support inpatient and emergency operations as needed. The pharmacy processes a high daily volume of prescriptions using advanced technology, including robotic dispensing systems. Team members play a vital role in patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community engagement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities (All Roles):**
* Accurately process prescriptions, including controlled substances
* Provide patient counseling and medication education
* Maintain clinical competency and current drug knowledge
* Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations, including Arizona state requirements
* Support both outpatient and inpatient/ER operations
* Collaborate with healthcare teams
* Participate in outreach and clinical programs **Supervisor Responsibilities:**
* Oversee daily operations and staff performance
* Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards
* Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control
* Lead process improvement initiatives
* Mentor and develop pharmacy staff
* Monitor workflow efficiency and system performance **Team & Environment:**
* Collaborative, multidisciplinary team
* Strong support staff including technicians, clerks, and billing personnel
* Active involvement in training and mentorship programs **Required Qualifications:**
* Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (Arizona preferred)
* Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
* BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS required or obtainable)
