SUMO Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Cardio?thoracic Surgeon (MD/DO) for a locum tenens call coverage opportunity in Kearney, Nebraska. This role supports critical vacation coverage at a Level II Trauma Center with expedited credentialing.

Position Details -
Start: May 1, 2026

Coverage Dates:
May 1–May 6
June 16–June 21
July 1 onward (ongoing)

Schedule: 24?hour call (includes 4 hours gratis) | Night coverage
Hospital: 268 beds | Level II Trauma Center
EMR: EPIC
Scope: Full?scope Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery

Requirements-
Active, unrestricted Nebraska medical license or IMLC (pending accepted)
Board Certified in Cardio?thoracic Surgery
BLS, ACLS, ATLS (AHA) and DEA
Clean malpractice history preferred
CV in MM/YYYY format with all 30+ day gaps explained
