Description

Springvale/Sanford, Maine: We seek a compassionate Psychiatrist to join a respected Federally Qualified Health Center serving approximately 7,500 mostly underserved patients in southern Maine. This role combines direct patient care with team collaboration and program support. Portland was recently rated the Most Livable City in the US – and it’s just 45 minutes away, making for an easy, common commute for providers in this practice. Known for its vibrant Old Port district of shops, eateries and clubs, an exceptional overall dining scene, and a thriving arts community, Portland offers the amenities of a larger city while maintaining a relaxed coastal lifestyle. With a highly walkable downtown, boutique shopping, live music, semi-pro sports teams, a convenient airport, and year-round cultural events, it delivers a level of access and energy rarely found in a market this size.

Springvale is a classic New England village in southern Maine, located near Sanford and just 10 miles from the New Hampshire border (offering tax-free shopping). The region offers affordable homes and convenient access to the amenities of Portland, Portsmouth, and Boston (1:45 away), along with excellent schools and a strong sense of community.

Outdoor recreation is exceptional year-round. This convenient location offers proximity to sandy beaches and water parks, lakes and mountains, golf, boating, hiking, skiing, and more.
