A hospital system is seeking a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for locum tenens coverage with call, surgical, and clinic responsibilities.

Orientation $200 an hour. Regular hours $375 an hour. Daily on-call $3,000 to include 4-Hour gratis. Call back $400 an hour after gratis hours . Holiday rates 1.5 x regular rates

Patient Volume
10–15 patients per day
10–15 consults per day
Hospital admissions managed by hospitalist
Average callback: 4–6 hours per day (varies by site)

Support staff includes:
Clinic: CMA
Hospital: OR staff
EMR: Epic

Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: ~30 days
Temporary privileges available

Requirements
Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery – required
Kentucky license – required
Residency/Fellowship – required
BLS and DEA – required during credentialing
Must be available for full coverage dates – required
Clean malpractice/background – required for emergency privileges
