Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a 30-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Aug 1, 2026. This role involves 12-hour shifts, either AM or PM, within a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, focusing on acute care responsibilities and performing procedures such as arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, and lumbar punctures.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide acute care within a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
- Demonstrate experience with arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement
- Perform endotracheal intubation
- Conduct lumbar punctures
- Manage a patient load of 4-8 patients per APP
- Collaborate with a team of 4 APPs during day shifts and 3 APPs during night shifts
Additional Information - Required Board Certifications: Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC)
