CVICU Nurse Practitioner opportunity for locum tenens coverage near Anaheim, CA
Description:
• ASAP for 3 months
• 13 shifts/ month (3 nights & 2-3 weekend day shifts) + shared holiday coverage
• 7a-7p
• 12 hour shifts
• No call
• EMR is Cerner
• Management of pediatric cardiac intensive care patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, develop & implement the plan of care
• Consult & educate patients, families, & team
• Multidisciplinary team
• Average daily census of 8
• 4 years of Peds experience preferred
• Needs background in CVICU
• 30-60 days to credentialRequired:
• Active & unrestricted California licenses & DEA
• Master’s Degree or equivalent in nursing
• Chest tubes & ECMO
• Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience
• NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS
