Description
We are seeking experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNP) and Neonatal Physician Assistants (PA) for a locum tenens opportunity in New Jersey. This assignment offers the chance to work in a high-acuity Level III NICU with a collaborative, team-based care model.Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable managing critically ill and premature neonates while working flexible schedules across days, nights, and weekends.
Skills
Required: Prior experience in a Level III NICU
Strong background managing high-acuity neonatal patients
Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced hospital environments
Comfortable collaborating within a team-based care model
Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and manage neonatal patients
Notes
Flexible schedule with approximately 6–8 shifts per month
Day, night, and weekend shifts available
No call required
Travel accommodations provided (airfare, lodging, rental car as applicable)
Opportunity to work in a high-census, academically supported NICU environment
Assignment runs July through December 2026
Credentialing timeline: ~60 days
