We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 35-day assignment in Louisiana, starting May 18, 2026. The schedule involves Monday through Friday shifts from 8am-8pm and weekend shifts from 9am-5pm. This role requires comfort as the sole provider, performing various in-office procedures, managing occupational medicine cases, and interpreting EKGs and X-rays.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as the sole provider in an urgent care setting.
• Perform EKG interpretation.
• Perform X-Ray interpretation.
• Execute splinting and fabrication of splints.
• Conduct laceration repair and suturing.
• Perform incision and drainage procedures.
• Perform ear wax removal.
• Perform foreign body removal of skin.
• Perform foreign body removal of eye.
• Manage nosebleeds.
• Administer IVs.
• Perform toenail excision or removal.
• Provide wound care.
• Handle occupational medicine cases including workplace injuries, evaluations, and drug testing.
