Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


Join our dynamic team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional anesthesia care within a Level 1 Trauma Center. This full-time position offers an engaging clinical environment where your expertise supports diverse patient populations across Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurosurgery. Collaborate with a skilled team of anesthesiologists, anesthesiology techs, and residents to provide safe, efficient anesthesia services. Your contributions directly impact patient outcomes while advancing your professional skills in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting.


We are seeking a highly skilled CRNA with a minimum of one year of recent experience in a large medical center, ideally with trauma center exposure. The ideal candidate holds NBCRNA certification and is licensed in Kentucky or is willing to obtain licensure. Proficiency in airway management, central line placement, arterial lines, and line placements is required. The role involves working scheduled days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four days per week, supporting a varied patient demographic aged all ages (excluding neonatal). No OB anesthesia required.


Key Skills & Qualifications:


  • NBCRNA Board Certification

  • Valid State License (KY or eligible to license)

  • Minimum of 1-year recent experience in a high-volume, Level 1 Trauma Center

  • Proficiency with intubation, central lines, arterial lines, and line placement procedures

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team

  • Day shift availability, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

  • Flexibility to support schedules with a commitment to working at least 4 weeks per month



Nice to Have Skills:


  • Experience with Epic EMR system

  • Prior experience working with residents or in an academic environment

  • Knowledge of NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia) procedures

  • Additional certifications in Advanced Airway Management or similar specialties



Preferred Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing

  • Certification in anesthesia from an accredited program

  • At least one year of recent experience in a large medical center, trauma setting preferred



Other Requirements:


  • Ability to obtain KY state licensure within approximately 90 days

  • Willingness to support NORA procedures

  • Availability for scheduled work holidays with shift differential (1.5x rate for holidays)

  • Must pass credentialing processes in a timely manner

  • Employment flexibility for occasional licensing or procedural support as needed

  • Travel reimbursements, licensure, certification, and other applicable reimbursements provided



This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $226.20, with potential for a weekly expense allowance up to $1,500 in lieu of reimbursements.
