Qualifications:

Master’s degree in social work required
Current AR MSW or LAC (Licensed Mental Health Professional)
1-2 years of experience in social work or in a related area (Preferred)
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures the social work field.
Responsibilities:

Collaborating with other professionals to evaluate patients’ medical or physical condition and assessing client needs
Advocating for clients or patients to resolve crises
Referring patient, client, or family to community resources to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness and providing access to services such as financial assistance, legal aid, housing, job placement or education
Investigating child abuse or neglect cases and taking authorized protective action when necessary
Counseling clients and patients in individual and group sessions to help them overcome dependencies and recover from illness
