Description
The RN in the OR is responsible for performing assigned duties. This role is vital to ensure quality patient care. The RN in the OR will provide nursing care that will be consistent with departmental policies and procedures, along with current professional standards of practices. The RN will maintain accurate nursing care plans, reports, and clinical records. The RN in the OR will also provide patient and family teaching when appropriate.
Skills
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current license to practice in New York State is required.
Previous OR experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Must possess current CPR certification.
