SHIFT: No Weekends

SCHEDULE: Full-time


Cardiology - Heart Failure Clinic/Interventional Care Center (ICC) Registered Nurse
Day Shift .9fte





Duties include care of a patients with the following:



      
  • Heart Failure patient disease management

  •   
  • Coumadin management in the clinic

  •   
  • Pre and post care in the Interventional Care Center for procedures such as: Heart Caths, Pacemakers, Lung biopsy, mediports, Angiograms etc.

  •   
  • Stress testing

  •   
  • Cardioversions

  •   
  • Transespogeal Echocardiogram

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as an RN in TX or Compact license is
    required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Minimum one year hospital cardiac nursing experience required
  • Telemetry experience preferred
