Stepdown Care Unit II nurses
work quickly, efficiently, independently, and meticulously. In order to
treat the most critical patients in the most thorough manner, critical care
nurses use their specialized skills and extensive knowledge of disease
pathology to provide interventions that sustain life.
About this unit:
19-bed Unit Amazing teamwork throughout
all levels – Physicians, Leadership, RNs, PCTs. Patient safety and
satisfaction are our number one priority Responsibilities: The Stepdown Care Unit II Registered Nurse provides
patient care through utilization of the nursing process. The nursing
process is demonstrated by the staff registered nurse’s ability to work
collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team in planning,
directing, implementing, and evaluating patient care. May supervise RN's,
LPN's, technicians, unit secretaries, nursing students, and nursing assistants.
