Peri-Anesthesia (PACU) like you to be a part of our team.
As the Nurse Manager of
PeriAnesthesia (PACU) you will be a working manager, who is responsible for day-to-day
operations of the PACU.
- You will oversee the planning, directing and controlling of the staffing
assignments in accordance with objectives and policies to insure effective
coverage of the department, and maintain productivity targets. - You will plan and direct staff activities.
- You will participate in unit activities/operations.
- You will create and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- You will develop a professional climate within the nursing unit/units.

Qualifications EXPERIENCE:
- 3 - 7 years
experience: Required - Two years’ experience
in a supervisory/charge nurse position in Surgery/Day Surgery: Required
EDUCATION
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s
Degree in Nursing: Required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Registered Nurse
license in Texas. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days
of hire: Required - BLS required as per St.
David’s HealthCare Policy: Required (for certifications only: upon hire is defined
as within 2 business days of start date) - CNOR, CAPA, or CPAN: Preferred
