POSITION OVERVIEW
LOCATION: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
The Emergency Department at Riverview provides care for some 24,000 patient annually. Functioning as a level III Trauma Center, the hospital is a Joint Commission accredited Stroke Ready hospital. The ED has moved into a new 17,000 square foot structure, equipped with the latest technology and with state of the art equipment to better meet the needs of the community.

The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.
EDUCATION
Candidates should possess one or more of the following:
Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
1-2 years of acute care experience is desired.
Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
