POSITION OVERVIEW
Consider joining our Ambulatory Cardiac Unit Lab Team!
This is pre-post area for Cardiac Caths, EP and Radiology. We do the pre-op for cardiac surgery and peripheral vascular cases. We perform cardiac procedures as well such as TEEs, Cardioversions, and EP noninvasive studies. RN with experience with Moderate sedation is helpful.
This position does not have weekend or holidays. The shifts vary and the first one starts at 0445 and the last one ends at 2100, unless the hospital is full and we need to hold patients.
LOCATION: Aspirus Wausau Hospital - Wausau, Wisconsin

The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.
EDUCATION
Candidates should possess one or more of the following:
Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

2 years of acute care experience is desired. Inpatient cardiac is preferred.
Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
