Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar inpatient surgical setting. Candidates are required to have current AHA BLS and NIH certifications; ACLS certification is preferred. This position requires working from 1900 to 0730 shifts, with schedule variations, and is staffed on a 13-week assignment basis. The role involves working in a unit with 32 private rooms, focusing on orthopedic and general medical-surgical patient care.


Essential skills include strong clinical assessment abilities, effective communication, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and proficiency in patient care procedures. Candidates should demonstrate high professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork skills.


Nice-to-have skills encompass additional certifications, experience with electronic medical records (EMR), and familiarity with surgical patient protocols.


Preferred qualifications include a valid nursing license in good standing, relevant inpatient surgical experience, and flexibility to work varied shifts.


Additional requirements include no local candidates within 50 miles, and the position is based on a schedule of 1900-0730. Certifications in lactation or specialized procedures are advantageous.
