The physician will provide comprehensive anesthesia services across a high-volume surgical setting, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team with a focus on urology and neuro/spine cases.

Responsibilities

Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care across surgical specialties
Provide pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans
Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgical procedures
Manage post-anesthetic recovery and coordinate with OR and recovery teams
Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and standards
Qualifications

Board Certification in Anesthesiology (MD or DO)
Active Maryland state medical license (or ability to obtain)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience in urology and/or neuro/spine anesthesia strongly preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced OR environment
Schedule

Locum/Travel
4–5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
Case mix: Urology (94%), Neuro/Spine (4%)
