Join Our Team as a PCU Registered Nurse – Make a Difference in Critical Care
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PCU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience
- Proficiency in IV starts and Telemetry monitoring
- Epic EMR experience is required
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
- Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels
- Strong communication and patient assessment skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience in high-acuity environments
- Additional certifications such as PALS or ENPC
- Flexibility for rotating shifts and holidays
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- At least two years of recent PCU experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Shift Commitment: Night shift, 19:00 – 07:30, 12-hour shifts, including weekdays, some weekends, and rotating holidays
- Ability to float between units
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Reliable transportation for commuting or travel reimbursement when applicable
- Parking options available, including guaranteed parking in visitor garages or shuttle services
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $59.18, with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, W-2 medical coverage, paid sick time, referral bonuses, and licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements where applicable.
