Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including recent telemetry monitoring.
- Ability to pass telemetry testing; prior telemetry monitoring experience preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proficiency in IV starts, patient monitoring, labs, medication administration, and patient education.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications or training in specialized areas.
- Experience in a similar hospital or critical care setting.
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures related to telemetry and patient safety.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting, with specific experience in telemetry units.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work night shifts (19:00 – 07:30), 12-hour shifts, with a start date of June 1, 2026.
- Valid nursing license in good standing.
- Willingness to pass telemetry testing and monitor telemetry patients.
- Valid parking permit options available through CampusParc, with various plans to suit your convenience.
