Overview:
An outpatient clinic is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time coverage while recruiting a permanent provider. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive radiation oncology care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

$400/hr

Assignment Dates:
Start: August 3, 2026
Ongoing through end of year, with potential extension into 2027

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No call
No weekends

Practice Details:
Setting: Outpatient clinic
EMR: Epic
Full weekday coverage required for continuity of care
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including medical oncology, surgery, and support staff

Responsibilities:
Evaluate and manage patients undergoing radiation therapy
Conduct new patient consultations, including review of imaging and pathology
Develop and oversee radiation treatment plans in collaboration with physics and dosimetry teams
Provide follow-up care and survivorship planning

Requirements:
Board Certified in Radiation Oncology – Required
Active Illinois License – Required (IMLC not accepted)
DEA – Required
CSR License – Required
ACLS – Required
Minimum 1 year of experience – Required

Credentialing:
Estimated timeframe: ~60 days
