Required Skills:
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
- Valid state medical license
- Proven expertise in cardiology diagnosis, treatment, and procedures
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Subspecialty certifications in advanced cardiovascular interventions or imaging
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Participation in clinical research or academic teaching
- Bilingual capabilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in cardiology
- Prior work experience in a hospital or inpatient setting preferred
Other Requirements:
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain medical licensure in the relevant state
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Willingness to participate in continuing medical education (CME) programs
- Ability to work flexible hours, including potential night shifts and on-call duties
