Join Our Team as an Electrophysiology Physician
Are you a skilled cardiologist with expertise in electrophysiology seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We are looking for a dedicated Electrophysiology Physician to provide specialized care in a bustling Level III trauma center. This is an excellent chance to contribute to patient health while working in a dynamic hospital environment, supporting life-saving procedures and consults on a part-time basis.
In this role, you will perform advanced electrophysiology procedures, support hospital staff, and provide patient care within a fast-paced setting. Your expertise will directly influence outcomes for diverse patient populations and help advance our center’s reputation for excellence in cardiac care.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Cardiology with specialization in Electrophysiology
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in advanced electrophysiology procedures and consults
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications such as Electrophysiology certification (e.g., CEPS)
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Prior experience working in a trauma or emergency care environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship electrophysiology experience
- Proven track record of handling complex cardiac cases in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work one day per week (07:00 – 15:00)
- Willingness to support procedures in the lab and facilitate some EP consults
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 45-60 days
- No licensing assistance provided; candidate must hold active licenses
