Job name: Full time Dalight or Night nurse Aid
Job Description:
The Certified Nursing Assistant, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse, is responsible for performing direct patient care related activities to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the hospital.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-Licenses or Certifications
-Current CNA Registry preferred
-Current CPR certification
-Education, Training, and Experience
-Previous CNA experience required; trach care preferred
-Skills and Abilities, Proficiency and Productivity Standards
-Promotes healing environment individualizing interventions to enhance functional outcomes
-Organizes and prioritizes tasks and projects; accurately completes job responsibilities within the specified time constraints
-Adheres to ethical, regulatory and accreditation standards
-Speaks and communicates English effectively, both in verbal and written format
-Maintains confidentiality of patient information
Respects Patient Rights and promotes customer satisfaction
-Works cooperatively with co-workers and other hospital employees
-Adapts to changes necessitated by guest/staff situations
-Seeks assistance as needed
-Writes legibly
-Functions proficiently in a Microsoft Windows environment (Can be removed for non-computer users)
 
Machines, Equipment Used:
Clinical equipment used for patient care, i.e. glucometers, bladder scanner, transfer boards, wheelchairs, shower chairs, assistive devices, call light system, and basic office equipment.
