Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physician Assistant for a 13-day assignment in Texas, starting Jul 20, 2026. This role involves working 13-hour PM shifts from 7p-8a, focusing on patients with complex needs, including stable VADs, trach/ventilator dependence, inotropic infusions, chest tube management, external pacing, and stable peritoneal dialysis.
Responsibilities and Duties - Patients often present with complex needs, including:
- Stable VADs (Ventricular Assist Devices)
- Trach/ventilator dependence
- Inotropic infusions: Milrinone and Dopamine
- Chest tubes (including management and removal)
- External pacing wires (AAI mode only)
- Stable peritoneal dialysis
Additional Information - Board Certifications required: Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC)
