Description

Our client in Oregon is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day assignment starting Jul 27, 2026. This role involves seeing a diverse range of cases, primarily focusing on general family practice duties, managing acute and chronic conditions, and performing preventative care appointments with a typical schedule of 8a-5p.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide care for patients of all ages, addressing same and next-day appointments for urgent illnesses and injuries.
  • Manage chronic conditions effectively.
  • Conduct sports physicals, screenings, and vaccinations.
  • Perform annual wellness visits, physicals, and Medicare Wellness checks.
  • Handle well child visits, general check-ups, and care for complex and geriatric patients.
  • Facilitate home health referrals and transitional care/post ER follow-ups.
  • Address GYN/Well woman needs and various acute conditions.
  • Refer to specialists as needed for comprehensive patient care.
