Join a dedicated outpatient rehab team in the beautiful community of Lakewood Ranch, Florida! We are currently hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to help deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Details:

• Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

• Location: Lakewood Ranch, FL

• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

• Classification: Non-Exempt

• Pay Range: $25/hr – $35/hr (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 total – paid in $500 installments every 3 months

• Employment Type: Permanent, Direct Hire

About the Role:

As a PTA, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in achieving their mobility and recovery goals. You’ll help implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and encourage functional independence in a positive and motivating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Instruct and assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities

• Monitor patient responses and report observations to the PT

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and progress

• Assist with discharge planning and patient education

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program

• Active Florida PTA license (or eligibility)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Team player with a passion for patient care
