Licensed professional psychotherapists are an essential part of a multidisciplinary team that provides patients high-quality patient care at Mind Spa PC. Our organization is searching for a skilled licensed professional to join its staff. In this role, you will be responsible for treating patients who have been struggling with mental, behavioral, and emotional health problems. Treatment begins with proper case conceptualization that will fuel the creation of personalized strategies that address and help the individual work towards their desired mental and behavioral healthcare outcomes. To excel in this role, you will need to have a strong background in trauma-informed psychotherapy, creative intervention ideas, and formal master's and/or doctoral-level training. It is also essential that you have the interpersonal skills necessary to engender the patient's trust that allows you to address and resolve their most intimate mental health, developmental, and trauma concerns.
Skills
EXPERIENCE: Five years of experience in mental health communication.EDUCATION: Completion of an accredited program with certification and licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Social Worker in the state of Colorado SKILLS: Computer literacy: This includes knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access) and familiarity with the internet and email communications Flexibility: You should be able to work independently and as a positive member of a team. Compassion and empathy: An ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with mentally or emotionally disabled persons and their families is a must. Active listening skills: Excellent listening skills will allow you to understand what your clients share with you and subsequently provide the help they need. Verbal Communication: Your clients must be able to comprehend what you're telling them to take recommended actions. Interpersonal Skills: You must be able to understand your clients' reactions and persuade them to make necessary changes. Service Orientation: You should have a strong desire to help others. Critical Thinking: You must be able to identify and then evaluate possible solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS: - Skill in providing psychotherapy according to established standards of care. - Organizing and prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines with excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to successfully provide psychotherapy to patients for improved mental and behavioral health. - Work with physicians, mid-level providers, and other staff members to evaluate patient conditions and develop comprehensive care plans. - Successfully refer patients to mental health specialists and other community resources as appropriate. - Interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, education, racial, ethnic, and professional backgrounds. - Work effectively with managers, co-workers, and members of the public and professional groups; to manage and coordinate activities and projects. - Work as an effective team member; function independently; exercise sound judgment and initiative. - Maintain a flexible treatment mindset - Maintain patient confidentiality. - Follow Mind Spa's Clinical practice guidelines and all applicable policies, including adhering to the mission, vision, and values; receive constructive feedback, including evaluating one's productivity and practice attributes.
