What You'll Need:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a PCU or similar acute care setting
- Valid ACLS and BCLS certifications
- Strong clinical skills including IV starts and telemetry monitoring
- Proficiency in electronic health records, specifically Epic system documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing patient needs
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Nice to Have:
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience in float rotations within different hospital units of similar or lower acuity
- Additional certifications or specialized training relevant to acute or critical care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
- At least 2 years of bedside nursing experience in a high-acuity setting
- Experience working with diverse patient populations and complex medical cases
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work the night shift (3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30)
- Ability to float within various units of similar or lower acuity as needed
- Compliance with all applicable licensing, certification, and employment regulations
- Valid state nursing license
- Willingness to travel if required; reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and related expenses provided
