Position Overview
- A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider.
Position Requirements
- Education/Experience
  - Minimum Required:
    - Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
  - Preferred:
    - At least 1 year experience in health care setting with evidence of having obtained proficiency in those areas emphasized in the LPN curriculum.
    - Previous experience in pediatric care setting.
    - Familiarity with Pediatric Vaccine
- License/Certification
  - Minimum Required:
    - Current NY State LPN license.
    - Documentation of current CPR certification required within 1 week of start of employment.
  - Preferred:
    - Current drivers license
