Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:

-The Department of Medicine/Division of Cardiology is seeking an experienced certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work in our regional outpatient cardiology office/clinic.

-This is a full-time position under the supervision of the Cardiology Team. Candidates with an ability to work independently are highly desirable and are immediately needed to support patient care. Experienced candidates are HIGHLY preferred. On-the-job training will be provided however candidates with a background in cardiology or crtical care nursing will be of special interest. These individuals will play an essential role in managing outpatients requiring cardiac and vascular care. The providers will collaborate with members of a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide exceptional treatment, education and support to patients with complex, acute and chronic health conditions. The successful candidates must demonstrate a high level of clinical proficiency, and excellent decision-making skills. 

-NYS license and national certification is required
