  Expand your experience by providing anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures, including general, vascular, orthopedic, urology, plastics, dental, interventional radiology (IR), carpal tunnel release (CDL), thoracic, pediatric, neurologic, cardiac, and endoscopy procedures.

  Collaborative Environment:
  Work alongside a team of dedicated surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a supportive setting. Utilize Cerner, the electronic medical records system used at the facilities.

  Key Responsibilities:

  
  
  
  
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement safe and effective anesthesia plans for patients of all ages, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  
  
  • Administer various anesthetic medications and monitor patients throughout the surgical process, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  
  
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the Cerner electronic medical records system.
  
  
  • Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care as needed.
  
  
  • Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and communication with all members of the surgical team.

  Qualifications for Success:

  
  
  
  
  • Current national certification as a CRNA (NBCRNA) is mandatory.
  
  
  • Valid and active registered nurse (RN) license and CRNA license in the state of West Virginia are required. We are willing to assist with licensure if needed.
  
  
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory.
  
  
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA is required.
  
  
  • Experience using Cerner, the electronic medical records system used at the facilities, is preferred.
  
  
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, surgeons, and staff.
  
  
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment is crucial.
