Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position located near PORT CHARLOTTE, FL.

Job Details:

• Specialty: Emergency Medicine


• Shift Model: 24 Physician + 12 APP


• Annual Volume: 700-1,000


• ICU: Open


• EMR: MediTech


• APP Support: Yes


• Daily Patient Load: 1.95


• ED Patients Per Hour: 2.5

Certification & License Requirements:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine


• Florida Medical License and DEA

Qualifications:

• Must have Medical License and DEA at time of Name Clear


• Clean malpractice/background for temp privs


• Board Eligible physicians must be boarded for 5 years after residency


• ACLS/ATLS certification for Physicians


• ACLS/BLS certification for APPs

Additional Information:

• Must provide self-query NPDB and EPA with presentation


• CV must have MM/YYYY format and gaps explained


• All licenses and certifications must be listed on CV


• Must have current start date and availability
