NEW Pathologists’ Assistant – Full-Time | Day Shift We are seeking a full-time Pathologists’ Assistant to join a busy clinical laboratory team on a day shift schedule. This role performs gross examination, dictation, and dissection of simple to complex surgical and autopsy specimens, working under laboratory leadership. Key Responsibilities -
Gross examination and dissection of surgical and postmortem specimens -
Accurate specimen documentation and gross photography as needed -
Maintain SOPs, inventory, and quality standards in the gross room/morgue -
Participate in call rotation as needed -
Assist with training and general laboratory operations Requirements -
Graduate of an approved Pathologists’ Assistant training program -
NYS Pathologists’ Assistant license (or ability to obtain within 1 year) -
