Join Our Team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician – Make a Difference in High-Risk Women's Healthcare
Exciting Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to provide exceptional care for high-risk pregnancies within a dynamic hospital setting. This vital role offers the chance to work with a collaborative team dedicated to maternal and fetal health, ensuring positive outcomes for mothers and newborns. Required Skills:
- Board Certified in Ob/Gyn
- Valid Minnesota medical license or IMLC credential
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology
- Proficient in electronic medical records systems (Epic/Excellian, Obix)
- BLS certification
- Ability to handle high-risk pregnancies and emergencies effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with maternal fetal medicine (MFM) services
- Previous hospitalist or OB hospitalist experience
- Ability to work flexible shift schedules, including 12-hour or 24-hour shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in OB/GYN, with emphasis on high-risk obstetrics
- Familiarity with Level II nursery operations and high-volume delivery settings
Other Requirements:
- Current BLS certification
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Must pass credentialing process (90-120 days)
- Emergency temp credentials are available with clean files
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $197.61, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, ongoing support from a dedicated team, and reimbursement for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses where applicable. The ongoing, flexible shifts include 24-hour in-house call coverage, with options for 12-hour shifts based on candidate preference.
